Check Your Students Progress and Attendance – January 2021

There are two platforms for families and home partners to check scholar progress and attendance : Home Access Center (HAC) and Schoology.

Please see directions below. Contact the school guidance counselor or your scholar ‘s home room teacher by e-mail if you need aid. Emails can be found above or in our “ Staff Directory ”.

This account will allow you to see the work your child has submitted, discussions they have participated in, school updates, and besides provides the ability to message staff at the school. multiple children can be added to one parent account. The following are videos ( Part 1 and Part 2 ) showing how to set up your explanation and take advantage of all the “ Schoology ” features available to you.

How To Access The “Home Access Center” (HAC)


All HAC username and entree code information for middle schools has been sent to both students and parents.
• Any scholar who has not even logged into HAC this school year will get an electronic mail to their lynnschools.org address with a new access code.
• Any parent who did not already have one should get an username and access code sent to their electronic mail if we have an e-mail address for them in eSchool.

Students
• You have access to the Lynn Public Schools Home Access Center (HAC)
• This is the portal vein you will use to view both your Interim Progress Report and Report Card.
• Click on the connection below and register with the Access Code provided and your birthdate. Birthday format should be MM/DD/YYYY.

• Your username is STU plus your student ID. For model STU123456.
• You will be prompted to change your password and set up two security questions.
• To look at your Progress Report on Friday, October 23, 2020 after 3pm, suction stop on the Grades button.

Parents
• You have access to the Lynn Public Schools Home Access Center (HAC) for your scholar.
• This is the portal you will use for Grade Reporting including both Interim Progress Reporting and Report Cards.
• Click on the link below and file with the Access Code provided, and your student ’ s birthdate. Birthday format should be MM/DD/YYYY.

  • Make sure to pick up your computer and practice logging on​
  • If you didn’t pick a computer up yet you can pick one up at TMMS ​on these dates:
    • September 16th -September 22nd​
  • We will be using an online Learning Management System (LMS) called “Schoology”​
  • We will train you and help you with this!​
  • Set up an area in your home that can be your “Learning Station”​
  • Find an area that is private, quiet and comfortable- not your bed! 

In this area:

  • Set up your computer​
  • Have a copy of your schedule ​– you will get this from TMMS after September 16th
  • Have a charging area/outlet​ accessible for your computer
  • Paper/writing utensil​ (pen/pencil)

For those of you that want to purchase school supplies.  Here is a recommended list.  These supplies are not mandatory! 
School supplies to keep at your Learning Station:​

1. 5 subject Notebook or 5 Single Subject Notebooks​
2. Pens/Pencils​
3. One Highlighter​
4. 5 Folders
