Tarneit ( ) is a western suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located 25 kilometres ( 16 security service ) from central business district, located within the City of Wyndham local anesthetic government area, nearby another emerging suburb at Truganina. Doing this will enable a yoke between the existing estates and new house developments on the other side of the railroad track lineage in the least populate locations such as Leakes Road and Davis Road, and provided a rate separation for the commuters who already used roads such as Tarneit Road and Derrimut Road.

In December 2018 Football Federation Australia announced Western United FC would join the A-League from the 2019–20 season.
