**COVID UPDATE – Preventive Care Veterinary Clinic**
We are holding all vaccination clinics “ curbside. ” Our clinical team has implemented new protocols to help protect our staff and clients .
Some appointments may be rescheduled based on the services you are requesting.
We WILL not be accepting walk-in clients until far notice .
All patients will be required to have an appointee in advance .
If you are unable to keep your appointment or are exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms, please contact lou @ peninsulaspca.org and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment .
The Peninsula SPCA Veterinary Clinic  offers basic veterinary health care services, such as vaccinations, leech control, and heartworm test, arsenic well as Spay/Neuter and limited forte surgery services. If your darling is pale, please contact your veterinarian .
When positron emission tomography owners use the clinic they are not alone improving the health and wellbeing of their pet by protecting them from preventable diseases, but they are besides helping to ensure a goodly animal population in our community .
The clinic is located at the PSPCA shelter, 523 J. Clyde Morris Blvd .

Vaccinations offered include Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella for dogs, and Rabies, Distemper and Feline Leukemia for cats .
The clinic besides offers heartworm and feline leukemia/FIV examination, faecal analysis, general deworming, and sell flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention medications .
Services such as nail down trims, anal gland expression and microchipping are currently only available as add-ons to vaccine appointments.

Spay/Neuter Surgeries: by appointment
Spay and neuter surgeries are by appointment only. Please call to schedule surgeries.  They may not be scheduled on-line. When you call please leave a message then that a staff member can return your call to schedule. Our clinic does not operate daily and therefore the clinic phone is often unattended.
Spay/neuter includes : complimentary examination, trouble medicine, e-collar, suture removal if needed, and collar shave .
Pets must be 4 months or older for surgery. Pre-anesthesia blood work is recommended for all pets. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required for all patients .
Pets must be dropped off for surgery between 7 – 7:30 ante meridiem and picked up after operating room no late than 4 post meridiem on the same day. A deep tip will be charged for late pick-ups .

Limited Specialty Surgery

The Peninsula SPCA is now offering limited surgery services. A full list services can be found HERE
Your pet must have been seen and referred by a veterinarian. Imaging and results will need to be done anterior to scheduling. Bloodwork is besides required. This can be arranged through our clinic or your veterinarian.
Certain procedures will require that your pet stay nightlong at either your veterinarian ’ second position ( if they offer after hours care ) or with a local anesthetic animal emergency center .
