Curriculum worksheets outline required courses and Tri-County Technical College ( Tri-County ) equivalents for the consociate Clemson University ( Clemson ) academic platform ( major ). Students are expected to be familiar with cosmopolitan education and academician program-specific requirements for their mean academician platform as outlined in the Clemson Undergraduate Announcements. additionally, students must satisfy any Tri-County prerequisites for the courses listed. Students must earn 30 assignable credits with a grade of “ C ” or better at Tri-County and a 2.5 GPA during their Bridge year to complete Bridge broadcast requirements. Students who choose to follow the course of study sequence for a close major cannot be guaranteed the opportunity to successfully change into that major upon transfer to Clemson. The Clemson University closed majors for the 2021-2022 academic year are : communication, Construction Science & Management, Health Science, Language and International Health, Nursing, and Sports Communication. Closed Academic Major Guides :
Students who choose to follow the course of study sequence for a closed major cannot   be guaranteed the opportunity to successfully change into that major upon transfer to Clemson. The Clemson University closed majors for the 2021-2022 academic class are : communication, Construction Science & Management, Health Science, Language and International Health, Nursing, and Sports Communication.

The guides provided below include extra information and contact information for pursuing a close up major at Clemson University and specific requirements/processes required to request a change of academician platform application upon transfer to Clemson. These guides are supplementary planning aids and are for informational purposes only. Again, the opportunity to change into one of these academician programs upon registration at Clemson cannot be guaranteed .
Departmental Restricted Majors/Programs :
The follow majors are subject to distance restrictions, GPA restrictions, or departmental blessing : architecture, Education ( all majors ), Graphic Communication, Performing Arts ( Audio, Music & Theatre ), and Pre-Business. Students who are interested in changing their major into one of these programs are advised to contact the Clemson University Office of Undergraduate Admissions ( apply @ clemson.edu ) to request information on stream handiness for these majors .
department of education majors are open majors with competitive entry requirements. Curriculum worksheets for each Education major list the competitive entrance requirements. Students pursuing a major in Education should plan to meet with College of Education academic advisers during the fall semester to review their condition as they work to complete the competitive entrance requirements. Students in an department of education major who do not meet the competitive submission requirements by the end of their Bridge class will be required to change their major out of department of education and into another open registration major at Clemson.

A change into one of the Performing Arts majors ( Audio, Music, or Theatre ) requires departmental blessing along with an audition. Students interest in a Performing Arts major should contact the departmental adviser listed in the Student Academic & Advising Guide .
The Pre-Business major nowadays requires students to complete the watch courses during their Bridge year, in order to remain in the major after completing the Bridge program and transitioning to Clemson : MAT 130, MAT 230, AND either ECO 210 OR ECO 211. Students who do not meet Bridge requirements and do not successfully complete MAT 130, MAT 230, and one ECO class ( 210 or 211 ) will be required to change their major out of Pre-Business and into another open registration major at Clemson .
